what you’ll need

•Fabric scraps: of any weight or type

•1 covered button set: ⅞˝ in diameter

cut it out

•For main pouch exterior: 1 piece of fabric 6˝ × 8¾˝

•For pouch exterior: 2 pieces of fabric 3¼˝ × 6˝

•For pouch lining: 1 piece of fabric 6˝ × 13¼˝

•For button loop: 1 piece of fabric 1½˝ × 3½˝

•To cover button: 1 square of fabric 3˝ × 3˝

Putting It Together!

All seams are ½˝. Backstitch at the beginning and end of each seam. Press after sewing each seam.

1.Cover the button, following the instructions on the package. Set aside.

2.Make a button loop (see Loopie Loops).

3.To make the patchwork pouch exterior, sew the 3¼˝ × 6˝ pieces of fabric to the short ends of the 6˝ × 8¾˝ piece, right sides together. Press the seams open. Figures A & B
